Viner was established by VIviano NERosi in 1947, Viviano's family still run and own the company today.

Viner is a specialist designer and constructor of hand built racing frames and cycles for areas of cycling. The company has accumulated vast experience in building quality frames and cycles.

For over 40 years Viner was involved in professional team sponsorships (Mapei, Fakta, Minolta etc). However, in 2001 Viner made a strategic decision to protect its corporate image and adopt a lower market profile at a time when drug controversies were persisting in the various Tours. In addition, vast financial sums where being demanded by the large pro teams, which would have forced Viner (as it has since done to its competitors) to abandon its handmade production facilities to mass production in Asia. A compromise it was not willing to make.

Viner decided to simply concentrate on what it did best – producing quality racing frames and cycles.

We still sponsor many smaller professional and amateur teams, and have the no1 Pro Grand Fondo team in Italy (the largest participation sector of the sport in the world)

We are one of the few companies left that actually manufacture our own bikes, all of our Servizio Corsa line bikes are hand built in Italy and all of our frames are hand finished and painted (again in Italy) by the best technicians and craftsmen in the industry.
